Lawrence Alford

Of the thousands of drawings and writings Lawrence Alford left behind there is still a mystery surrounding this artist. Growing up in the Southside of Chicago and working at the Shell gas station for most of his life little did anyone know the opus he was undertaking. Alford left us this puzzle to look at and wonder. The drawings are full of tense sexual energy and it is undeniable the amount of effort and time that went into constructing this life's work. Agent Gallery is proud to feature his work, and we look forward to exhibiting it in 2010.
