Vintage 1972 Sx-70 Camera

This high end model was introduced in the early 70 and had long been a favorite of professionals and amatures. Walker Evans spoke of his increasing addiction to working with this camera. This piece was highly touted by Eames as the next generation of picture making. I have always liked this camera as an art object. The piece is beautifully designed and looks good both as an object and functions to create beautiful art. Some of the most memorable pieces have been produced by pioneering artist like Lucas Samaras and have transformed simple images to complex and transformative pieces. Piece is original and is in working condition. Some light wear from normal light use.
