1944 Officers Field Desk with Original Key

This is quite a handsome piece. This field desk dates from 1944 and is marked with the date of production on a placard that is mounted on the face of the trunk. The interior, paint, and structure of the piece is solid. What makes this piece extra desirable is that is has the original key. Key and trunk have corresponding numbers 'G25' and the only cosmetic scuff is on the back. This piece make a very nice writing  surface with nice drawers and cubby holes for storage. Makes a nice private chest for letters, photos, or whatever you want to keep stowed away safely. Closed Dimensions: 19" H x 20" W x 10.5" D
