AGC on Time Out Chicago (Yes, we design spaces)
Here is a project that I desiged for Mr. Joshua Rogers. He wanted bookshelves and benches and a sense of warmth. The guidlines were that he wanted a warm feel, but with minimal 'stuff' surrounding him. I agree. You want a nice minimal home with warmth and nice objects, but you don't want to be consumed by tons of things in every corner (although Roger Brown has pulled that off rather well). With this in mind I worked with what the space had to offer and complimented the open space and wood to reflect existing characteristics. You can read about it and see pictures by clicking this link:
